Coventry Building Society Arena has strengthened a long-standing partnership with a local family business to provide premium cocktails ahead of three huge nights of live music.

Poison Cocktails, which has worked with the Arena for more than a decade, is launching a bespoke new cocktail as part of the upcoming Take That shows in June.

Take That will take to the stage in the stadium bowl for three nights from Thursday 4 June to Saturday 6 June and fans will be able to enjoy the specially created ‘Ringmaster’s Punch’ at cocktail bars around the venue.

The relationship with Poison Cocktails forms part of Coventry Building Society Arena’s continued commitment to working with local suppliers to enhance its food and beverage offer, while supporting regional businesses to grow alongside the venue.

Poison Cocktails was founded in 2012 by Karl Kelly, who developed the concept of ready-made cocktails served in jars, designed to be shaken with ice for a high-quality and consistent product.

Karl said: “We first came to Coventry Building Society Arena back in 2012 and we’ve been here ever since, supporting concerts, conferences and major events.

“There is nothing quite like working in your home city. The relationship with the Arena is incredibly strong and even though we’re not here every day, you feel part of the team when you come in to deliver an event.

“Major shows like Take That are fantastic for the business and for the city. It’s a great opportunity to showcase what we do to a big audience.

“We’re proud to be launching a new drink for the shows and to continue our long-term relationship with the Arena.”

‘Ringmaster’s Punch’ is a blue-coloured cocktail designed to reflect the visual theme of the shows and named to align with ‘The Circus’.

It will join a cocktail menu that already includes Passion Fruit Martini, Mojito and Long Island Iced Tea.

Poison Cocktails will deploy a team of up to 10 staff on each of the concert evenings, managing dedicated cocktail stands and supporting mobile service operations across the venue.

Lee McCabe at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “Karl and the team at Poison Cocktails provide an outstanding service from start to finish. Their approach is professional yet genuinely friendly, making every interaction feel easy and enjoyable.

“From the attention to detail to the way they look after their clients, it’s clear they take real pride in what they do. They deliver a seamless experience with great energy and reliability.

“We are proud to be supporting and working with local businesses on what is set to be three incredible nights at Coventry Building Society Arena.”
