At Coventry Building Society Arena

sport at coventry building society arena

Coventry Building Society Arena is a premier destination for national and international sport in the heart of the West Midlands – with a 32,609-seat stadium bowl and 8,000 capacity indoor arena.

We have hosted major sport events from the Olympics, The Davis Cup and the Commonwealth Games, to snooker, darts and international rugby.

Our venue is designed to deliver memorable experiences for athletes, organisers and spectators – showcasing a commitment to excellence in every event.

The Home of Coventry City Football Club

Coventry Building Society Arena is home to the Sky Blues and the club moved to the stadium in 2005.

The stadium welcomed a record home crowd for a Coventry City league fixture in 2024. It has provided the backdrop for the club’s recent success and a string of iconic wins.

Coventry City’s Memorial Garden can also be found in the grounds of the Arena and is accessible to visitors all year round to remember their loved ones.

As the club’s fortunes on the pitch have continued to improve, so has the matchday experience, following significant investment in partnership with the football club.

Sky Blues fans can now enjoy a wide range of concourse refreshments, a pre-match fan village outside the east stand and a family zone.
