A brand-new cocktail created especially for Take That fans is set to be launched at Coventry Building Society Arena this summer.

The “Ringmaster’s Punch” has been developed exclusively for the shows and will be available across the venue, offering a blue-coloured cocktail inspired by the theme of the Take That shows.

The Circus Live will transform the stadium bowl for three nights from Thursday 4 June to Saturday 6 June and fans will be able to enjoy the specially created ‘Ringmaster’s Punch’ at cocktail bars around the venue.

The cocktail, which blends Blue Curaçao, coconut rum and lemon, will form part of an extended drinks menu available to concertgoers, alongside popular options including Passion Fruit Martini, Mojito and Long Island Iced Tea.

The launch has been delivered in partnership with Coventry-based Poison Cocktails, a long-term supplier to the Arena that has supported events at the venue for more than a decade.

Poison Cocktails will operate cocktail services across multiple areas of the stadium during the concerts. The business was founded in 2012 by Karl Kelly, who developed the concept of ready-made cocktails served in jars, designed to be shaken with ice for a high-quality and consistent product.

Karl said: “The Ringmaster’s Punch is something a bit different for these shows and it’s great to be able to create something bespoke for such a big event.

“We’ve worked with Coventry Building Society Arena since the early days and it’s always special to come back and deliver major events here. As a Coventry business, there’s nothing quite like working in your home city.”

The relationship with Poison Cocktails forms part of Coventry Building Society Arena’s continued commitment to working with local suppliers to enhance its food and beverage offer, while supporting regional businesses to grow alongside the venue.

Lee McCabe at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “We’re constantly working with our partners to enhance the event experience and add something a little extra for fans

“Ringmaster’s Punch is a great example of that. It will be a bespoke product that adds to the atmosphere and gives fans something unique to enjoy as part of the show.”
