SPATEX returns for 30th anniversary edition

The UKs only dedicated annual water leisure expo is preparing to stage a mega edition in celebration of its milestone 30th anniversary next year.

SPATEX will mark three decades of showcasing the water leisure industry when it is held at Coventry Building Society Arena from Tuesday 3 February to Thursday 5 February 2026.

It will be a bigger show after seeing a record number of companies eager to participate and in response it has expanded the floor plan to maximise every inch of the exhibition hall. This means more names and brands to see, more opportunities and more connections to be made.

SPATEX has also expanded its small-knit team to supporting the planning for a bigger show.

This has included appointing a dynamic Head of Operations, Kayleigh Biggs, who has 15 years’ experience of working at the venue, to work under the expert tutelage of Show Organiser, Michele Bridle, from September.

SPATEX is also unveiling a new design for its 30th anniversary.

Michele Bridle said: “We are excited to unveil our eye-catching 30th anniversary design.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time at SPATEX as we celebrate three decades. It’s a history we’re proud of. We’ve established ourselves as the UK’s only dedicated showcase of the industry. We toast the past, but we look to the future as we grow to meet the demands of our exhibitors and visitors.

“This new design is the perfect symbol of our heritage as we take the next steps in our journey as a vital part of the water leisure landscape, both in the UK and beyond.

"The design will feature across our social media and, of course, our newly designed website, coming mid-June. SPATEX 2026 will be a show like no other and I invite you to join us for a unique, and unforgettable experience.”

SPATEX is set to be an international industry extravaganza. In bringing together under one roof the water leisure community from all corners of the globe, organisers plan to celebrate in style and make it a big reunion.

The SPATEX Networking Party will take place at 5pm on Wednesday 4 February, with free drinks, canapes and gifts for all visitors and exhibitors, and will feature a new pearl anniversary twist.
