Hundreds of vacancies to be promoted at next Coventry Jobs Fair
The British Army, West Midlands Police and the University of Warwick are among the organisations that will promote around 400 vacancies at a jobs fair in Coventry.
More than 1,000 jobseekers are set to attend the next Coventry Jobs Fair at Coventry Building Society Arena from 10am to 1pm on Friday, June 20.
The event is featuring a wide range of national, regional and local employers recruiting for jobs in Coventry, Warwickshire and the wider West Midlands.
More than 25 employers, from various industries, will be advertising a broad spectrum of positions, from entry-level to mid-level management, while also showcasing flexible, part-time opportunities.
There will also be a range of apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities available.
The fair will boast a strong local contingent, with Coventry University, Coventry Building Society, Coventry City Council and Coventry Building Society Arena all exhibiting.
Althaus Digital, Avon, JCP, Progress Care Solutions, Find a Job, London School of Science & Technology, Prospects, Advanced Care, Future Connect Training & Recruitment and iMeta Training are also hosting educational stalls.
Coventry Jobs Fair is held at the leading conference and exhibition centre three times per year. The final event for 2025 is scheduled to take place in October.
The Fair is organised by recruitment event specialists The Bridge. The company has worked with 9,000 employers since it launched in 2010 and now holds 150 events in 65 locations across the country.
Sean Heppinstall, Head of Operations at The Bridge, said: “As our Fairs align with the jobs market local to each venue, we’re able to keep the events fresh, popular and, most importantly of all, relevant to attendees.
“Time and again they prove to be a fantastic opportunity for employers to meet new talent and for jobseekers to explore new career paths. In a digital age where so much is done online and remotely, I think it’s great for employers and prospective employees to meet in person, because it helps both sides to communicate better and develop a rapport from the very start.
“We take a lot of pride and satisfaction from helping people connect in this way and are confident thousands more people will find the right job for them by visiting our Fairs.
“Coventry Building Society Arena is a great venue for us in the Midlands. This is our fifth year of hosting at the venue and because we stage three events each year in Coventry, we’ve been able to establish our Fairs as the go-to events for exciting job opportunities in the city and the wider region.”
Jenni Ford, Director of Sales and Marketing at Coventry Building Society Arena, added: “As a venue we pride ourselves on supporting our local community, and hosting the Coventry Jobs Fair is one of the many ways that we do this.
“Helping to connect local people with great job and career opportunities won’t just have a beneficial impact on each of the exhibitors and jobseekers, it will have a positive knock-on effect for the regional economy, too.”
