NAPIT EXPO Roadshow Brings Latest Electrical Regulation Changes to Coventry Building Society Arena.
Hundreds of electrical professionals from across the region will assemble in Coventry for an event that will shine a light on major Amendment 4 changes to IET Wiring Regulations.
The National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers (NAPIT) EXPO Roadshow will unpick the latest Regulations changes when it arrives to Coventry Building Society Arena on May 12.
The half-day event will focus on Amendment 4, offering attendees practical guidance on how the updates impact day to day electrical work.
Amendment 4 covers new regulations for installing and protecting electrical storage systems in homes and businesses and specific new requirements for earthing and bonding for information and communication technology equipment and systems.
The Amendment also covers specific rules for distributing low voltage DC power using data cables common in smart buildings, major updates to electrical safety in healthcare environments and updated requirements for low voltage generating sets.
While principally aimed at installers, inspectors and testers, as a provider of technical learning, networking and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, the EXPO is also open to members of the public.
Running from 8am to 1pm, the event will feature a programme of Amendment 4 Masterclasses delivered by NAPIT technical experts. These sessions will break down the key regulatory changes, practical implications and best practice approaches, helping professionals stay compliant and confident as the industry evolves.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, gain clarity on the new requirements and engage directly with industry specialists. Each delegate will also receive a copy of the brand-new Wiring Regulations Book, providing an essential reference to support ongoing learning and compliance.
Frank Bertie, NAPIT Managing Director, said: “We look forward to welcoming attendees to the NAPIT EXPO in Coventry. These events are designed to share knowledge, explore key regulatory updates and support electrical professionals in continuing to deliver the highest standards of work.
“Combined with the CPD earned from the masterclasses, the Coventry EXPO aims to equip electrical professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to adapt to Amendment 4 with confidence.”
Jenni Ford, Director of Sales and Marketing at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “We’re delighted to be playing host once again to the NAPIT EXPO.
“The exhibition is a valuable source of the very latest industry information and a great way for electrical professionals to network and share best practice.” To find out more about the expo, visit https://www.napit.org.uk/napit-shop/napit-expo-coventry-iet-wiring-regulations-18th-edition-a4-2026/
