Coventry Building Society Arena Expands Partnership with local business, Coventry Coffee Company.
Coventry Building Society Arena has expanded its association with a fast-growing local business to provide high-quality coffee machines at the venue.
The venue is linking up with Coventry Coffee Company to provide a fully-managed coffee service for its portfolio of business, sport and live events.
After a successful trial, the agreement has expanded and now there are more than 20 coffee machines, each serving with premium coffee beans, throughout the Arena.
It is the latest in a string of agreements that has seen Coventry Building Society Arena expand its work with local suppliers; enabling each business to grow in step with the venue.
The deal with Coventry Coffee Company supports the venue’s focus on providing a high-quality product and service to support delivery of the best experiences for visitors.
Coventry Coffee Company was formed in 2020 by Harry Talbot and Connor Gladwin, initially supplying coffee directly to local residents.
The business started to expand after the pandemic, building relationships with pubs, cafés and hotels across Coventry and Warwickshire.
After being introduced to Coventry Building Society Arena 18 months ago, a small number of machines were trialled in event space The Curve before expanding to other areas of the venue.
The machines are self-contained mobile units, enabling rapid movement and flexible delivery across high-demand locations.
Ten branded Coventry Coffee Company machines were deployed in the atrium to support high demand at the recent Ed Sheeran concert.
Connor said: “This development with Coventry Building Society Arena is a major milestone for our business and we are looking forward to continuing to grow our relationship with the venue.
“The Ed Sheeran concert was a proud moment for me and the team and was a great example of how we are supporting the venue to provide a great service to customers.
“As the business continues to develop, having experience of working with a venue of Coventry Building Society Arena’s reputation and scale will be invaluable.
“We are already seeing growing demand from customers who want a more responsive and service-led approach than they often receive from national suppliers.”
Tom Davies, Head of Supply Chain at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “We are pleased to build on our association with Coventry Coffee Company following a successful trial at the Arena.
“Working with ambitious local suppliers like Coventry Coffee Company is an important part of our approach as a venue. Collaborations like this help to strengthen our offer to visitors, whilst also supporting Coventry businesses to grow, develop and thrive.”
