A Night to Remember: Ed Sheeran performed for 10,000 at Coventry Building Society Arena

Almost 10,000 fans saw one of the UK’s top stadium-selling artists in an intimate indoor show at Coventry Building Society Arena.

Ed Sheeran took to the stage at the Coventry venue in one of only two UK dates as part of a small European arena tour.

A huge set saw Sheeran take fans on a journey through his vast catalogue of hits, including new tracks from his recently released album Play, such as Azizam, Sapphire and Symmetry.

From Galway Girl, The A Team and Castle on the Hill, to Thinking Out Loud, Perfect and Shape of You, the set treated fans at Coventry Building Society Arena to the chance to hear some of the biggest hits of the last 15 years live.

Warwickshire folk duo Nizlopi, famed for their number 1 hit JCB Song, were one of two support acts on the evening, with Irish super group Biird also supporting Sheeran on a stellar night of live music at Coventry Building Society Arena.

The show came hot on the heels of Bob Dylan performing at the venue in November, with both events part of Coventry Building Society Arena’s growing live events calendar.

The venue has already announced iconic comedian Bill Bailey will be coming to the venue on 13 November 2026 and Take That will be performing in the stadium bowl for three successive nights in June 2026.
