The Clause have been added to the line-up for The Enemy’s special homecoming show at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday 20 March 2027.
The Birmingham four-piece have broken through over the last two years. Their debut album, ‘Victim Of A Casual Thing’, went to #1 on the UK Independent Albums Chart and into the Top 20 of the Official Albums Chart when it was released in October 2025.
Drawing on the swagger of the 60s, the rolling groove of the 80s and the riotous attitude of the 90s, they have become one of the UK’s most exciting new bands.
They join previously announced special guests The Twang for the show, which commemorates the 20th anniversary of The Enemy’s all-conquering #1 album ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’.
‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’ changed everything for The Enemy. Beyond its #1 chart triumph and Platinum certification, it is packed with big hits, including the Top 10 ‘Away From Here’ and ‘Had Enough’, as well as numerous other fan favourites and live staples.
Its breakthrough led to further success for the trio, including another two Top 10 albums, shows with all-time greats such Oasis and The Rolling Stones, festivals including Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, and an NME Award.
After some time away, a new era in The Enemy started with a reunion of their original and only line-up in 2022 with bassist Andy Hopkins and drummer Liam Watts. Last year saw them release ‘Social Disguises’, their first new album in over a decade.
The show in the Indoor Arena at Coventry Building Society Arena will be The Enemy’s biggest headline show since they sold-out the 10,000-capacity venue back in 2008.
