SPATEX: UK’s Leading Pool and Spa Exhibition Makes a Splash with 30th Anniversary Expansion
The UK’s only dedicated pool, spa and water leisure exhibition will mark its 30th anniversary with a major expansion at Coventry Building Society Arena.
SPATEX 2026 will be the largest in the show’s history and is set to attract more than 125 exhibiting companies when it is held from Tuesday 3 to Thursday 5 February.
It will see the show expand to use an additional 500 sqm of floor space, fully utilising Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 at Coventry Building Society Arena, in what will be the biggest display of water leisure products ever in the UK.
SPATEX is set to attract the world’s leading suppliers and manufacturers in the sector, showcasing the latest swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, ice baths, enclosures, pergolas, steam rooms, hydrotherapy, wellness plus all the ancillary equipment such as lighting, energy efficient heating systems, ventilation and chemicals.
The expanded show will feature large working swimming pools in the exhibition halls, including an eye-catching 8mx4m pool - the first product visitors will see on arrival.
The show will also see the debut of a new Industry Hub, bringing together key associations including the RLSS UK (Royal Life Saving Society UK), STA (Swimming Teachers Association) and the PWTAG (Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group).
This new feature will act as a hub for advice, training and industry collaboration. It will run alongside a comprehensive three-day double seminar programme with a diverse range of topics, including CPD-accredited technical workshops and expert industry speakers. The Industry Hub is the place to visit if you have any queries on pool and hot tub ownership for free impartial advice.
SPATEX was first held at Coventry Building Society Arena in 2014. It is free to attend, open to the public and attracts visitors from across the UK and internationally.
Since launching 30 years ago, the show has raised more than £2 million for the SPATEX Foundation that supports projects in the water leisure industry.
This has included research into the benefits and impact of hot and cold-water therapy through academic projects at Coventry University and the University of Portsmouth.
Michele Bridle, event organiser at SPATEX, said: “We have experienced unprecedented demand from exhibitors for this year’s event and that has enabled us to expand the show for its 30th edition.
“This will be the biggest and boldest event we have held and for visitors there will be an incredible range of eye-catching displays. We will have exhibitors joining us from across the UK and countries including France, Germany, Belgium, USA, Spain, Czech Republic, Switzerland, China, Italy, Denmark and Netherlands.
“We’re proud to have represented the industry for three decades and this is set to be the perfect way to mark that milestone in style. The show is free and open to the public, so we’d welcome all visitors to join us to celebrate over the three days.”
Jenni Ford, Director of Sales and Marketing at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “After more than a decade at the venue, it’s great to be able to support the continued growth and expansion of SPATEX.
“It’s brilliant to see the show’s continued growth. We have an excellent relationship with the SPATEX team and for three days every year Coventry really does become the centre of the water leisure world.”
SPATEX 2026 is free to attend, with free parking for all visitors. Registration is now open at www.spatex.co.uk.
