Coventry Building Society Arena connects community with major sporting event

Coventry Building Society Arena connects community with Lionesses match.

This is our vision for the future and collaborating with Coventry City Council is a powerful partnership. This week we linked over 30 local schools to help 300+ girls take their first step in playing grassroots football. All the participants will also be able to attend the England Lionesses game on Tuesday 29th October 2024.

Girls from primary schools across Coventry took part in a football tournament and spent time with professional female athletes earlier this week to celebrate England's Lionesses returning to the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Almost 300 youngsters took part in the tournament at Centre AT7 and had the opportunity to ask four professional female athletes, all from Coventry, many questions during a Q&A session.
