HEATING & RENEWABLES ROADSHOW TO KICK OFF TOUR IN COVENTRY

Experts from the heating and renewables industry will be heading to the Ricoh Arena next month as part of a series of roadshows across the UK.

The Heating & Renewables Roadshow in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall is an opportunity for installers, contractors and specifiers to gain advice on issues affecting their industry.

This year the tour kicks off in the Midlands, which is one of the centres of the UK renewables industry and is home to the headquarters of many of the roadshow’s exhibitors such as Viessmann, Vaillant, Glow-worm and Worcester, Bosch, making it the ideal destination for the first show.

Sixty-six leading suppliers and manufacturers will be exhibiting and there will also be a seminar programme featuring expert speakers on a range of subjects including the Energy-related Products directive which comes into force on September 26; a digest of the General Election; integrating renewable energy into the grid and battery storage.

The roadshow will be in Coventry on Thursday, September 10 and then will move to Exeter, Farnborough, Edinburgh and Manchester throughout September.

Paul Stephen, of the Heating & Renewable Roadshow, said this was the fourth year the event had been held at the Ricoh Arena.

He commented: “It’s great to be returning to the Ricoh Arena, which has always been our Midlands venue and the launchpad of the UK-wide Heating & Renewables Roadshow.

“This year we have added theatres, secured maximum industry participation across our 66 exhibitors and lined-up speakers from established trade accusations.

“There is more compelling educational content than ever before as well as hands-on demonstrations for Roadshow visitors from the commercial, domestic and rural sectors.”

Chris Owen, senior events manager at the Ricoh Arena, said the Heating & Renewables Roadshow was continually growing at the venue.

“The Heating & Renewables Roadshow is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the latest low carbon and heating technologies and this is the event to attend in the Midlands for everyone connected with this expanding sector,” he said.

“It promises to be an action-packed show to kick-start the launch of the regional roadshows across the UK.”
