Location:                          Based at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Coventry. Ability to work from Wasps Training Ground in Henley in Arden

Working Pattern:           40 hours per week / full time / five days out of seven

Term:                                Permanent / Full Time

Start:                                 ASAP

Coventry Building Society Arena has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the team. The Facilities Manager will assist the Head of Facilities with the efficient operation of the facilities department and will work across the Coventry Building Society Arena and the new Wasps Training Ground at Henley in Arden.

About Us

The Role:

The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facilities by undertaking the below duties and responsibilities: -

  • Support the Head of Facilities with the day to day operation of the department
  • Carry out maintenance of buildings on a day to day basis at the stadium / hotel / casino / training ground
  • Ensuring that departmental documentation is managed and kept up to date from service providers and compliance.
  • Conduct onsite inductions and issue work permits
  • Manage/supervise the facilities team and event electricians
  • Manage onsite call outs for emergency purposes and provide support out of hours for the stadium and casino on the departmental rota
  • Manage equipment and spare kit in the workshop
  • Assist the Head of Facilities with resourcing contractors and suppliers – building on new and existing relationships
  • Roster and schedule the team working pattern around the venue's business demands
  • Liaise with internal departments and tenants around routine and emergency maintenance across the venue
  • Inspect work carried out by the department to ensure the work has been completed to the required specification
  • Co-ordinate PPM’s, SLAs and KPI’s
  • Any other duties deemed reasonable for the role

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

  • A qualified engineer/electrician or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management role in facilities management within a similar environment
  • Experience with Building Maintenance Systems (BMS)

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

  • IOSH or EBOSH qualified
